Couples Therapy

Some time ago, I observed that two well-liked, high-achieving people can struggle to get along in a relationship. Add kids to the picture, and the marital dyad can be seen as the vertex of the family from which either health or dysfunction cascades. It is with these high stakes in mind, that I sought to train as a couples therapist with intent and vigor.

Hi I’m Teddy,

A decade ago, I began training under renown Los Angeles-area couples therapist, Dr. Gary Penn. Concurrent with this, I learned both P.A.C.T. (Pyschobiological Apprach to Couple Therapy) and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) before finding Relational Life Therapy.

I will soon be certified as an RLT Relational Coach® after completing a year-long program in Relational Life Therapy for Couples. RLT is a powerful, “brass-tax” approach to couples work that helps people deepen their own self-awareness and authenticity before helping them reconnect with their partners. I encourage you to learn more about it below.
